Borneo International Marathon

I know this is kinda like the most ancient story. But it's worth to mention that I woke up at 2.30 am in the morning to find myself at the starting line at Likas Stadium with the rest of other so-called nocturnal friends. I even got a call from a friend who was hanging around town. Doing the usual post-party stuff.

I tried not to take a photo with him...cuz everybody had at least a pic of him and it would be so lame to have one too. But I guess I failed...

I've gotta say that I am not a fan of marathons and what ever that ends with a 'thon' would be at the bottom of my list. I hate the unbearable sun. Being surrounded by sweat-soaked people is not my fashion for Sundays. I was there for the promised gig to be on a place that most of you could only wish for. So yeah, most of the people who were there already knew that BAD things can happen. Wait....bad is an understatement....abysmal is the correct word.

And then I wasn't!

Just because some fucked up dude from Land and Survey dept
needed to be on that ride to look into certain "sensitive areas"
which I think was so dramatically exaggerated.
You know you're in Malaysia if things like these happen.

Anyway, after I was dumbfounded by the unfortunate event I still hung around a bit.




Though I didn't get the chance to ride on a heli, I rode at the back of a carrier with the boys...which is a total fun!



An angmoh who decided to hitchhike our ride and told me he goes by the name Lee San San on Facebook.



The only times you can ride at the back of a carrier is when you're in a Kampung
or you are actually a PTI worker works for a Chinaman contractor.

Despite the unexpected turnout at Sabah Air I still want to extend my utmost gratitude (kunun) to avicraft for giving me the chance to join their crew.
Still, Jusdy you owe me mister!!
